What Took Me So Long?
Over the years, I’ve done a lot of loops in the Uintas, but for whatever reason I’ve never actually completed the most famous trail in the range – the Highline. I can’t say why exactly, but I’m going to blame it on logistics. Getting a car shuttle from Leidy to Highway 150 is no easy task. But finally, this summer I was able to link up with a few buddies and make it happen.
We had wonderful weather, minus one big storm as we crossed Anderson pass. Did 4 nights total, and was psyched to finally piece this all together in one trip. Definitely an awesome way to see the range, especially once you finish that car shuttle.
