Took a little jaunt up to Lake Blanche last night to see how my body could handle being back on the trail. It was a good news – bad news adventure. Good news is I made it to the lake and snapped a few photos. Bad news is that it’s going to be awhile before I’m back in any kind of shape. But really, hardly bad news. I’m just happy to be back out and about.
Salt Lake is getting a lot of monsoonal type storms moving over it right now, so I was hoping for some crazy light on Sundial Peak. In late afternoon, it was looking pretty good, but by sunset all the clouds had burned off in the east, but fortunately there was some action to the west over the lake. Walked away with two pretty cool images in the end. Enjoy.
