Packrafting the Gates of Lodore at 850cfs
June 2021 packrafting trip down the Gates of Lodore. With the historic drought in the Colorado Basin, Flaming Gorge has been forced to reduce the flows of the Green to just 850 cfs. Flows that low make for a rough trip in big rafts, but it’s perfect in a packraft (and one Mini-Max). Thanks to Brandon and Scott for rallying on 3 days notice after scooping up a cancelation.
